Usage:
% tofasta -infile=vector_in_gcg_format.seq -out=vector.nfa
% tofasta -infile=insert_in_gcg_format.seq -out=insert.nfa
% cloneit -VEvector.fasta -INinsert.fasta
This will put you in a menu system which *will* roll off the top of the
screen (46 options), so be sure you use an emulator which will let you
scroll back up.
There are two enzyme files you might want to use:
/usr/local/doc/cloneit/Rebasesmall
/usr/local/doc/cloneit/allenz
The first is a short list of common Restriction enzymes, the latter is all
enzymes in the most recent NEB database.
The only other environmental variable you might want to change is the
symbol CLONEPRINT, which directs where your printed output goes. The
default is that it goes to the same place as the PRINT command.
